The Publication
Established in 2011, the Peking University Transnational Law Review (“STL Law Review”) is an English-language academic journal, edited and operated independently by students of the Peking University School of Transnational Law (“STL”). STL Law Review aims to serve as a bridge between Chinese and international legal communities, and its scholarly contributions have been widely recognized. As a highly regarded academic platform, STL Law Review provides a significant forum for legal scholars, practitioners and law students from around the world.
The Vision
To date, STL Law Review has successfully published five volumes, featuring 55 outstanding articles. STL Law Review’s digital supplement—the Peking University Transnational Law Review Blog (“Blog”)—has collected and published 31 outstanding works, providing an important platform for STL students to share their unique perspectives on Chinese legal issues with the global community.
After the reorganization in August 2024, STL Law Review will relaunch in an annual format, and the printed version will be circulated within Chinese book market. STL Law Review will collaborate with Blog to further enhance the scope and depth of academic communications, and to attract more excellent legal studies from around the world.
